While there is some variance (super-low-curve aggressive decks might have slightly less, while decks built on ramping or other land synergies might have slightly more), probably 80% of all the Commander decks I build have 37 lands
Getting a clue is a bit worse than drawing a card straight up, even in a format with clue payoffs, but this still looks like a nice card, especially in decks that have cheap evasive creatures
Since it produces mana when you transform it, you can cast a 4-mana spell on turn 3
If you want a big boom to build up over time, Id recommend Time Bomb, Torch Song, or Shrine of Burning Rage
The Tales from Middle-earth Bundle sold well, and charted higher at #5, but selling older, already successful Magic product is not what WotC needs to gain momentum right now (see "Another 1,100 Employees")
In most cases that player will want to prevent damage, then double what's left
