This card is just super flexible, able to be used as removal/board control or a straight-up win condition
It's run in 170 as a Commander built but 16,753 in other decks, so it seems they agree with me
Skull Raid For commander this probably isn't good enough
One particularly damning thing to note is this chart: This table shows that with 7 Swamp and 7 Plains, you will have the required Plains to cast a turn-3 Territorial Hammerskull only 85.9% of the time (on the play, in absence of mulligans or card selection)
Ill admit I wish this was giving me a 3/3 or 4/4 instead of a 2/2 wolf, but I think the concept is still nice in a strategy that otherwise doesnt have much card advantage
That only applies to games against other starter decks, of course
