(Until there are enough options for a high-density of solid sacrifice outlets in Temur colors, I wouldnt go all in on that plan, but the one-off is a nice option that synergizes with the rest of the deck.) There are a lot of creatures with great abilities for +1/+1 counters, and we also just want back-up options in case casting our commander becomes difficult

While Spyglass costs an extra mana it lets you take a look at your opponents hand to see if a better option presents itself, which makes it a better card to side in if you can reliably cast it
