I think Fantasy Flight Games should have stuck to their LCG model for this game because one of the things that really killed this game is the fact that you often needed 2-3 cards (with coinciding dice) in order to make a certain card playable, this was especially true about heroes so what you ended up with is a lot of cards and dice that you really couldnt put in a deck and remain reasonably balanced for the general power level of the game
Besides tapping for both red and green mana, cards that have both land types gain the extra benefit of being more easily searched for by fetch lands, spells, and abilities
In Base Set booster packs, rare holographic cards represented only a tiny fraction of available cards
