Sword of Feast and Famine and Sword of War and Peace are in my opinion better tournament-worthy cards than the original swords, though based on a particular metagame any sword could be favored over another for a period
Sligh decks loved this one, as they could get a hand full of burn after unloading a handful of Goblins and more burn
A bit too vulnerable to make than many heavy control decks and lacking in any tempo gaining prowess thus rendering him poor in agro decks the Cryptologist winds up in mindrange decks, combo decks utilizing discard effects and the odd tempo deck that requires bodies to tap for Opposition or put equipment on etc
That red doesn't go away until the end of your turn, meaning it's free to use in combat for a sneaky combat trick or surprise Shock
Jafar will be the vital leader of an Amethyst-Steel illusion deck, letting all your illusions return to hand when they're banished
Then you can really push for the roof with modal cards from other cycles rather than just Charms and Commands
