Doubling your Rabbit tokens is a simple but effective way to pull ahead of your opponents and works particularly well with other token producers you might run, like Adeline, Resplendent Cathar

But it's hard to imagine playing Cathartic Reunion outside of those decks

Eight is typically too much to pay unless it wins you the game on the spot, and I think Ardyn is just too vulnerable to be as good as the other expensive bombs in this set like Summon: Knights of Round and Summon: Bahamut
