And if you're new, there's really no better set to jump into (that's readily available, at least) than this one
Ironically, the more creatures are saved with rope counters, the more incentive there is to also pay at least until you hit diminishing returns when youre down to tokens or other inconsequential stuff

Based on the environment in your area, you should be able to predict which decks you'll encounter and include answers for the most likely and most dangerous situations
