Powerbalance checks off all the relevant boxes for me: its a callback to an awesome card from years past, it forces interaction (in other words, makes me have to pay attention to the game), it gives you free stuff, and it allows for fun top-deck manipulation

As part of an exercise in vision design, I took all the Arthurian-inspired cards, meaning ones specifically designed top down from actual elements of Arthurian legend, and showed them around the building to see which ones had some amount of recognizability

While Lorcana feels simple to pick up - it only took a few games to really get the hang of things - the new expansion also introduces a few mechanics and refreshes some existing concepts in ways that feel like they'll be much deeper
