When a Spell/Trap Card or monster effect is activated, you can reveal a Counter Trap in your hand, discard any card, and pay 1000 Life Points to negate the activation of that card and shuffle it back into the Deck

She also has an ability that she bestows upon your other characters in play, giving them the Ward keyword

The pierce effect is relatively easy to one-kill and easier to handle than the slightly slower Tribute Summon Deck
