Do note that as an endgame piece, Craterhoof Behemoth comes with a very steep cost (5GGG), so you may want mana generation cards to catch your opponent off-guard before the 8 th turn
That's not to say the card isn't good on its own, but paying the full six mana is a much taller order than cheating him into play on turn three, which is why he just hasn't seen the play he used to, despite still commanding nearly a $15 price tag
Jumping from five mana on turn five to 12 mana on turn six is huge, and can have you dropping Eldrazi while everyone else is pottering about with Colossal Dreadmaws and the like
While it wont beat everything, its hard to find a card that does more for just a single white mana
Im especially looking forward to abusing this card with Serra Paragon, a flying angel that happens to have exactly 3 power
Cards matter more when playing against people that outdraw you
