Competitive Magic is still an absolute mess but the game is played more than ever
While past packaging has labeled these collections as a Starter Deck," this time, they read Single-Player Deck." Personally, I think this minor marketing tweak makes a lot of sense as the game moves forward
If some of the targets are illegal as the triggered ability tries to resolve, the original division of damage still applies, but the damage that would have been dealt to the illegal targets isn't dealt at all
These are substantially better than the original Urza's block ones as they basically cost half to cycle
Much of what makes Edgar so good is his eminence ability, which triggers whether hes in the command zone or on the battlefield, making a 1/1 Vampire creature token anytime you cast a Vampire spell
There's both the potentiality of what will be strong in this game, as well as what might be strong given your deck
