There is one other way to get your hands on specific cards that you want without having to spend a small fortune on either gems (the in-game currency that gets you packs) or packs themselves, and thats to craft cards using the in-game crafting points (or dust as fans of the game refer to it)
Luckily I was able to collect them all before the spiking popularity of commander and rising prices of older cards made some of them skyrocket in value, as many players are using some of the cards like Gaeas Cradle and Grim Monolith as proxies in their EDH decks and Cube
Some fun cards get lost in the process (like, let's be real here: Innistrad and Return to Ravnica blocks would've been just fine) but we make up for that with a chance to explore the truly casual origins of the format
One copy is the kind of card that can end the game if your draw it, but it might only work in certain situations
