What I really love about this card is that it offers brewers the ability to think wayyyy outside the box, reaching for a world where they can get a bunch of artifacts into play more easily than other ramp options, with an end game that involves casting either a) a non-artifact spell that wouldnt normally be easy to ramp into and benefits from board state full of tapped artifacts or b) a cost reduction ability like the one on Etherium Sculptor that lets you chain a bunch of spells in a flurry for purposes yet unknown
Number 4 This is not the most functional board wipe
This flexible land can be tapped for a colorless mana, or one mana of any color at the cost of one life, as long as that mana is being spent to pay for the mana cost of a Vampire spell
Theyre also completely optional, meaning even those whove played the game may not have run into them
Madness has cropped up in multiple sets, including several Innistrad-based sets as a vampire typal mechanic, so you can go either way
Pack RRP is $5.99 in the US, or $143.76 for the box (though technically they dont have an RRP)
