I was able to prey on his Bench by using multiple Bosss Orders to take KOs on a Crobat V and a Bibarel before finishing off his lone Ice Rider Calyrex VMAX for game and match
Between the card's two abilities, Meren synergizes in incredible fashion with sacrifice outlets and Aristocrats synergies that can provide experience counters as well as self-milling effects that can provide a Meren player with additional options of which cards they'd like to return to play.
While this design choice doesn't strictly make the card better or worse, the dead look in Pikachu's eyes is mildly off-putting, especially the more you compare each version
