Casting of Bones was similarly problematic, as its always risky to put something like this on your creature, when it could be removed in response and Swords to Plowshares was the removal of choice anyhow
You choose which ability that creature gains as the ability resolves
Its a fun way to win a game, because you can either steal all of their best stuff and beat them to death, or you can just mill them out

This is very relevant because you need characters in order to win the game the most common way to win is through accruing 20 lore
(Although I should note that we do push these decks to fringe levels every once in a blue moon.) Utility discard cards, on the other hand, do not necessarily promote the discard decks unto themselves (although they are used if enough resources for the discard deck exists)
