The blue/black Time Spiralled dual of the cycle is gross and has a far too unreliable trigger to be interesting for cube play and the Graven Cairns cycle has been printed and does rank 7th currently
If there's a cost associated with having each of those creatures block, its controller isn't forced to pay the cost, so they don't have to block in that case either
