As such, playing games where one side doesn't get to play does very little to help design learn anything
Thats why its been a classic sideboard threat in formats like Modern and Legacy for years, and its why getting Blood Mooned is basically shorthand for being locked out of casting your spells
Its not a leaves-the-battlefield trigger, so you can bounce it back to your hand, where it will exist as its front face again (see Rule 712 for all the hairy details on DFCs)
A lot of these effects destroy just one land, but mass land destruction destroys lots of lands at once
If nothing else, being able to activate Arthur, Wizard's Apprentice and grab three points of lore on your turn at the cost of another card may just be the thing you need to boost you over the finish line and grab a victory ahead of your opponents
