Its very strong in competitive formats like cEDH and Vintage, mainly because they cant cast free spells without a significant downside

The stats line up perfectly to eat the Dragon for free, and not needing to target the Dragon can leave them without the ability to even finish off Thryx with a Frost Bite or whatever

Even more scarce than Enchanted Rare cards, Iconic cards are even more special, with more textured, 3D effects and a custom foil pattern too

But sneak an attack in with these guys and watch out for cards that are way more busted than a 7/7 with trample, think along the lines of Bloodthirster, Worldspine Wurm, or Blightsteel Colossus
