Presuming of course the "better selection" you made was actually a misplay, but this is all very worst-case-scenario talk
You need a lot of fixing and thus a lot of lands, but equally, you can't dedicate too many slots to fixing and so the sweet spot is much more heavily highlighted that it is in normal cube
The big question here is how often it will be worth trying to defeat a battle
I love that this card separates this new product further from Celebrations , as this Mitsuhiro Arita -illustrated Pikachu was not in the Celebrations Classic Collection subset
Being able to play lands directly from your graveyard has empowered quite a few strategies in Magic, most notably Legacy Lands and Vintage Workshop, but you'll occasionally see it in Modern Golgari decks too
I will acknowledge that I can be wrong here and you often can cast it as a 1 or 2 mana play because you have made so many 1/1 Mercenary tokens and maybe that actually will push this card to be among the strong red uncommons
