Hell, play the reprints in normal 93/94
The key is to get ahead of the curve with enough sacrificial fodder laying around, then drops Goblin Assassin followed by just about any other goblin token generator
Other than the potential for a blowout should the target creature be removed with your aura still on the stack, but thats no different from the sacrifice cost on Natural Order and Pattern doesnt even force you to work with green creatures
(They were also just worse than Gearhulk, so not a perfect comparison, but seven mana is a lot!) In a control deck, the hope is that when you slam Hullbreaker, you may have a spell or two left in hand, and your opponent should be mostly out of resources
It also means you can go in a bit of a Voltron direction with Silumgar, since suiting up a huge hexproof creature with Equipment and Auras is a nightmare scenario for your opponent
If all targets for the chosen modes become illegal before Wail of the Forgotten resolves, the spell will be countered and none of its effects will happen
