While comparisons to Magic: The Gathering are easy - there are a number of keywords with specific in-game effects, cards battle using two key values for their attack strength and health, and you can gradually play bigger cards as you build up your stock of in-game resource - Lorcana doesnt just whack a set of Mickey Mouse ears on the veteran TCG
There were a lot of large-scale Battles in the lore, which would make this card type a good flavor win
While it feels like going wide was the hotness at MC London, this could change as soon as the next SCG Modern Open
That said I cant really get too excited about this one
Having the TWD cards be black bordered meant they were tournament-legal, which affected the meta and the overall feeling of the game
