You can use Ghostly Prison and Sphere of Safety to stop them from attacking you back
I have written about a lot of the cards that get upside here and I dont want to rehash too much of the article I wrote this week here, but the list of cards that get upside from this guy are almost too many to name
Its a great answer to control decks since it makes tokens on cast, minimizing the usefulness of countermagic, and is practically impossible to remove
Turning them into Shades seemed like the logical progression
