Your opponent does get a creature while you are spending mana and potentially taking a turn to do nothing to your board, which is rarely a good thing, having a steady stream of Soldier tokens flooding the board can cause a lot of chaos in a game
Nessian Wanderer pretty much turns a Role into a guaranteed land drop for next turn, and if you happen to have Composer of Spring on the field as well, you can put those lands down immediately
This 3/2 MTG elf lets you proliferate any time an MTG land enters the battlefield under your control
I only slightly jest, but it is pretty rad that fans of perennial deck building game Magic: The Gathering can now enjoy it in terms of their favorite sci-fi show (probably)
Its only a 0/1 without synergies, but it isnt hard to turn it into a 2/3 or bigger that starts drawing you cards
Also, there are always ways to build decks in colours that dont make sense, there are a few Blue Aggro decks, but it isnt a common thing, and you shouldnt be trying to break the mould with your first deck
