While everyone is cracking packs and building Commander decks, I have my heart set on something a little more refined (and perhaps a little less advisable) - a monored standard deck built around FFXVI's protagonist, Clive
If you cast a sorcery spell that deals damage to a creature, or an opponent's creature is dealt combat damage, Kazarov, Sengir Pureblood gets stronger
Necropotence is a card so good it's banned or restricted in all non-Commander formats, so it being at four copies in Timeless is a big deal
That said, there are still some gems within the rough that could see play if more accessible
The best part is that you can choose to not use the -1/-1 counter if your opponents dont have anything you want to take down, or you just want to avoid giving them a reason to attack you
If not, you can start using his plus ability to start putting more early/mid-game cards onto the battlefield that turn and start casting your powerful payoff cards as soon as the next turn
