The first manga chapter was released in 1997, followed by the first episode release in 1999
Butcher of the Horde and Chandra get along fine, but the card that was really overperforming was Crackling Doom
Thus, FINAL FANTASY produces an interesting case as a Standard-legal Magic set - it's not powerful enough to where a ton of cards will have a huge impact, but at the same time it's refreshing to have a set introduced to the format that isn't full of cards that would drastically shake things up
But for a 5-mana commander, Id prefer a card that stands on its own and doesnt require other cards to do things after it enters
You can play this black ramp piece in other color combinations thanks to Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth, but those decks make this black land a weak half of a 2-card combo
You may put that card on the bottom.) Land Land (CTRL to add secondary) Sorcery Starfall Invocation Gift a card (You may promise an opponent a gift as you cast this spell
