We already have Power Play and I like how clean that card is

In just a turn or two, you can have an entire army of Orcs do your bidding

If you have two on the back side in play at the end of your opponents turn you can have them target each other, allowing you to make four copies of a card on your turn

Building a deck around +1/+1 counters, or lifelink, for example, provides you with more mechanical synergy than just jamming all the cool Elves you love into a deck

For rebacked cards you can usually use the bend test (which will usually cause the two pieces to separate a bit near the crease)
