This is due to rule 400.7f which states that if an effect grants a nonland card an ability allowing to cast that card, that ability continues to apply to the new object that card becomes in the stack as it is being cast that way
This is where we say that it was a one-time thing and we dont expect it to happen again, but that might not be entirely accurate
These abilities might also overwrite their previous types but it depends on wording
If I'd rather destroy it, I'd use it like a snake whistle or ancient ruin code "A", but sending it to the graveyard is really disappointing
