The fact that the deck has two commanders also ups the power level quite a bit because you essentially start the game with two extra cards in hand and fill two spots on your curve
Ive tried out Nadir Kraken, The Locust God, and other token makers, but I think triggers off spells are the most reliable space for this deck
I wish I could say the same for the Through the Ages cards, though Some of these cards look great, others are hard to parse, and more yet look like proxies
If you judge a card by its cost, Hermit Druid is pretty strong, but perhaps the most telling indicator of Hermit Druid's power is that it's banned in Legacy , one of Magic's most competitive formats
Supreme Verdict has more value than other board wipes like Shatter the Sky, because for the same mana value, you get a sweeper that cant be countered, with no downside aside from the restrictive mana cost
Ive seen this card win games by protecting the right permanent at the right time when everything else got removed to clear the way to victory
