2 Stroke of Midnight Similar to the popular Commander staple, Generous Gift, which creates a 3/3 Elephant creature token in place of a target permanent, Stroke of Midnight instead allows players to create a 1/1 white Human creature token in place of a target nonland permanent
With it, you can better immerse in the game and visit the battlefield
As I say, there's a lot going on for a fairly high cost, and I struggle to see this card seeing too much play given the setup required to cast it for its Shift cost, especially in Ruby & Steel decks which typically skew far more aggressive
If that's true in your playgroup then Ignoble Hierarch is a sweet pickup for any Jund deck, mana-fixing and giving a little boost to attacks
Ive heard a lot of people saying that this shouldnt cost 8 mana, but I dont think that there is any way to justify an effect that multiplies all of your attacking creatures by the amount of opponents that you have being any cheaper than this
Its tempting to load up on these powerful effects, but putting too many into a deck can be detrimental, too
