Combine some excellent Boros (white/red) cards in your deck that synergize with this ability, such as Defiant Strike or Fists of Flame, and you can give your creatures some nasty buffs and keywords as much as you like

rather than digging for the card you want, it gets straight to the point and gets it, although with the creature-only limitation
