Overall, I think this is a solid, playable card that should see use across multiple formats
While its stats aren't much to write home about, thanks to its Landfall ability, whenever a land enters the battlefield under its owner's control, its owner may gain control of the target creature for as long as Roil Elemental remains in play
It doesnt die to Lightning Bolt, but is susceptible to Red Elemental Blast, so you can always try to limit your exposure to this against certain decks with how you sideboard
