I can see a lot of UGx decks giving up on two-drops in order to have Keruga starting out ready to go alongside their commander

All of these will be big hits at the casual table

The Valeyard The Valeyard is a cunning diplomat with the ability to have opponents face a villainous choice an additional time

Cards like Patron of the Kitsune and Righteous Cause give you life whenever any creature attacks, and if you're sat behind a wall of defensive enchantments, they could push you out of reach of the rest of the table

Perhaps learning to pilot one of these decks would make a great goal for a new player, but I would not start someone new to Magic with these decks

Unlike some 1-mana cards
