Late game this becomes hard to use to much effect and you have little way to ensure you draw this early with something to use it on

While Modern and Legacy players are theoretically so invested in the game that they won't quit based on a banning (especially when the banning improves the format), if someone buys their first Standard deck and it's suddenly banned, it's very possible that these players will give up on the game altogether
However, while it is a bit of a roundabout strategy, in conjunction with cards like Repay in Kind, Reverse the Sands, and Near-Death Experience, Selenia can use her ability in order to devastate opponents' life totals
It won't allow its controller to lose the game for any reason, and the player's opponents cannot win, no matter what happens
