Youll still want a nice bell curve of mana costs in your cards, but unless youre playing cEDH (competitive EDH, a hellscape where games end before youve even finished shuffling - fun, but in a horribly different way), you can have a bit more fun
Theyre also really good to build around if you wanna take them out of your deck (especially Gandalf and Radagast)
And heres the thing: doing that is boring

I think Wizards got a lot right here, building Karador for the long game with their ability to reduce their cost and by extension, commander tax and restricting the reanimation ability to once per turn
