White Auracite is simply good removal for any white deck, and some will be able to make more use of it than others

Pair this up with the -X/-X board wipe effect, which gets around indestructible, and you have a great addition for all kinds of black decks

Though it took 2 years for Modern Horizons II to cross that threshold (which Lord of the Rings was expected to surpass by the end of 2023), it was still a remarkable and, for a very long time, seemingly untouchable achievement for a set without any sort of crossover, mainstream appeal beyond Magic: The Gatherings already invested player base

Still kinda fun though, even if the fact that it only buffs noncombat damage to opponents can be a point of contention

Its also possible that it could see play in a Grixis Control shell in Standard, but it probably isnt better than Desperate Ravings
