Unless someone else in your pod has a card that usurps your monarch status, you will likely be destroying your foes hands or dealing six life to each one of them every turn
Being able to maintain parity might be all you need and having a card that can keep you a bit safer early on and then go on to lock someone out of the game entirely is nice, it just requires fairly specific decks
If youre into art collecting, theres definitely value here, but if youre expecting meta-shaking cards, you might be better off looking at older sets or newer meta-focused expansions
