First introduced in Strixhaven: School of Magic, Ward appears on many current MTG cards
Its a value-oriented deck with plenty of powerful constellation payoffs and enchantment-based finishers
(You may pay an additional as you cast this spell.) Flying When this creature enters, if it was kicked, gain control of target artifact with mana value X or less
Similarly to Bonds of Mortality, I wonder if this has a place in an enchantment deck
However, it has two more useful abilities: you can pay four mana to roll a d6, then turn it into an X/X flying Insect creature , where X is the result of your roll, and when it attacks, it gives another attacking creature flying
While it isnt ideal to play this enchantment without getting another card back, it pulls its own weight well enough that its not impossible for it to be a good play
