Bladegriff Prototype isn't bad, but its effect doesn't always help you as much as it helps others, and once a multiplayer game is down to two players, it's basically just your opponent sacrificing permanents, which might not be that impactful in the late game
It can counter cards efficiently on its own, but the trick is that it gets better the more faeries you play
This particular card has a wicked design and its been going down well with collectors who like character-centric chase cards
If an opponent gains control of your creature and it phases out and the duration of the control-change effect expires before it phases in, that permanent phases in under your control as that opponent's appropriate untap step begins
One side is more collectible baseball card in presentation (and can be partially textless)
