However, this does look like it might be worth playing in the Black-Red deck, as there is one red Sacrifice effect at Uncommon, two black sacrifice effects at Common, and one at Uncommon, so setting up the sacrifice is actually going to be doable there, making the card a solid playable in a deck that gets its hands on some of those effects

You do want to have some source of lifegain in your deck, as Darkstar Augur will cause you quite a bit of burn damage
Well, lets start with the most obvious, Deaths ShadowI know, I said we might not want to do this because well draw Deaths Shadow less often, but Deaths Shadow is a deck that would really like both more fetchlands and more colors, so what happens if we push it pretty far
The Swarmlords main payoff is that its always a bit bigger than the amount of mana youve spent on it, which really isnt that impressive
