The Psychic-type monsters have 2 main effects: one is to banish themselves from the field to summon higher level Kozmo Monsters from your hand (usually a Quick Effect), and the other is to pay LP to activate their secondary effects
The checklist is just another tool to assist you if you want it, nothing more
This was addressed in the OCG with the erratum issued in Dimension Box Limited Edition , but persisted for several more years in the TCG until the same erratum was issued in Speed Duel GX: Duel Academy Box
send to the GY, 1 monster from your Extra Deck or 1 "Dogmatika" monster from your Deck, with ATK greater than or equal to that target, and if you do, Special Summon that target
Its a powerful card, at least in the decks that can take advantage of it
Unless Im wrong, this is used to deter people because of a psychological effect, but couldnt this simply be forgotten as more and more people get legitimate products from non wholesale scalpers, allowing scammers to more than likely blend into this still occuring wave
