The teams working on the set were developing Teferi's suite of powers while senior art director Cynthia Sheppard was leading the commissioning of art for the set
Having realised I do in fact enjoy playing the deck, I decided to pick up a second Badlands (purchased right here, from Three for One!) so I could build the Black-Red version of the deck, which I believe is just strictly better (being able to flashback Faithless Looting is too important)

Really across the board of land selection, it matters not when or where the landscape was painted, or whether created traditionally, digitally or a bit of both, they just work in this frame twenty years their senior
