Few cards swing games this hard on resolution, and colorless board resets dont get cleaner than this

Synergy is not required - just brute strength

Hell, [[Protean Hulk]] wants to die to start the combo

In all likelihood this is another Game Objects Cube kind of card, but there is enough generic rate here that this card can hang on an individual card basis in more modest Cubes or complement an artifacts-matter package well

There is not much that can block a big Deaths Shadow, however, many of the common removal spells of the format can take care of it, until Lurrus Deaths Shadow and the namesake deck are emblematic for how Magic is played today, interrupt your opponent, play a cheap strong threat and counter whatever your opponent tries to play against you

Boltwave hits all three at once, however, which makes it a much juicier prospect
