Destiny Spinner does come with some drawbacks, notably, it's a creature so it's more vulnerable to removal than say City of Solitude, and Spinner itself can be countered, which isn't a problem for more expensive options like Prowling Serpopard or Vexing Shusher
Graven Lore is an amazing card drawing spell at instant speed that gets even better the more Snow mana you have to cast it
Radiant Lotus allows the player to sacrifice as many artifacts as they choose and gives them three mana per artifact sacrificed
The additional tokens are still exiled at the end of combat, but you get a bunch of extra pressure
