Milling, discarding, or sacrificing lands grow your slime, and you can trade in +1/+1 counters to protect Slogurk by bouncing it to your hand
And if that effect is underwhelming in a given situation, stunning your own thing is pretty intriguing
Classic artifact lands like Seat of the Synod or Great Furnace are also excellent because they come in untapped and fuel all your artifact synergies without costing you deck space
Add to that an activated ability that can chunk all your opponents for 10 and this amazing black artifact is the most dangerous Future Sight ever printed
Technically Treasonous Ogre too, but dethrone just doesnt matter on that card
(An opponent is afraid of you if a Horror, Nightmare, enchantment, or face-down creature you control entered the battlefield or attacked them this turn.)2/4
