It cant win games on the spot as easily as Blightsteel, but its far easier to get on the board

As a 2/2 with vigilance, that's respectable, and the one time effects are fine too, I just don't think there's really a deck out there that's going to want to take advantage of either one

The other obvious improvements would be more of the same good Pirate cards already in the deck, and Piglet Pooh Pirate Captain

I am planning to build a '-1/-1 counters' deck, and this card belongs in it
