Even if you are not abusing your life total with Necropotence there is a good chance you have some cards that can or do cost you some life although probably no where near enough to be killing you it will mean you are effectively on a lower starting life total

Protection Racket feels like the type of card that can shoot yourself in the foot from time to time, but when you do get to put 3 extra cards in your hand mid to late game when life totals are low it feels so good
