Some of these cards are around, but this one in particular is unique for a couple of reasons

Eddie Brock / Venom, Lethal Protector Eddie Brock is a nice value card, getting a 1-drop for free from your graveyard (which you could have sacrificed before if youre into aristocrats anyway)

The ability started off simply looking at your hand, but graveyards are kinda the Necrons' thing

This was intriguing to me: In the blank card labeled in this post

This, like red, tends to be fairly straight forward and rather self-centered in its spells

The downside to this combo is that, as Emiel is a Selesnya (green/white) commander, you can't use Peregrine Drake in an Emiel deck
