You end up in a bit of a bind with Phoenix where you want to build your deck with a little more learn to maximize recurring it, but you dont really want to max out on Phoenixes and draw multiples, but also your desired sideboard Lesson count varies a lot depending on whether you draw Retriever Phoenix in a game

Quick lands are a little better in aggro decks and check lands are a little better in control decks however pain lands win out in the middle ground and would have a better average performance than checks or quick lands even if you only looked at aggro and control and ignored the midrange
Make sure to get these permanents on the battlefield as quickly as possible
