Portal to Phyrexia As mentioned previously in this very review, nine mana is a lot, but with Portal to Phyrexia, youre getting a ton of return on that investment, and if were being honest, its very unlikely those that are looking to play this have any intention of actually casting it for its full retail price
It may not sound like much, but having flavour text on lands does sum up what this set is trying to do in lieu of a Core set this year
So much is going on, from cancelled Secret Lairs to Arena Direct and an overflow of turkey, but I think the time is right to take a step back and look at Final Fantasy cards, now that were a safe five months from its release
Dont forget cards that remove the hand size restriction like Curiosity Crafter or Decanter of Endless Water so you can keep all those cards after drawing them
Pull out all of your party creatures, jam them into a deck, add some treasure payoffs and youre cooking
If you are lucky enough to find this card in a booster pack, you are looking at some significant value
