Red, as a color, has a lot of things working against it in the Commander format
To resolve the second mode, starting with you (or, in unusual cases, the player whose turn it is if not you) and proceeding in turn order, each player chooses a creature they control to sacrifice
Sometimes I'll add a dork or two from them, but this and the order is mine
Its a legendary creature you build decks around, not one you typically slot into the 99 of other decks, which makes it an effective Bant commander, but a narrow Bant card
Of course, you miss out on the adventure if you have to just run this out as a land first, but thats nothing a good ol Kor Skyfisher cant help with
It functions as a normal Esper control deck with value pieces that are all unassuming on their own but become menacing when linked all together
